The MacBook Pro M1 on the Refurb Store at €1,229

Apple last night presented the Apple M2 chip which is now included in the 13.3″ MacBook Pro. This is the only change made to the 13.3″ MacBook Pro which keeps the same design and its Touch Bar, but Apple took advantage of the update to increase its prices in Europe. The MacBook Pro M2 which will be marketed next month will indeed be sold at €1,599 for 256 GB and €1,829 for 512 GB, i.e. €150 more than the previous model.

The MacBook Pro M1 is no longer sold on the Apple Store but it is still available on the Refurb StoreApple’s refurbished product store that still offers it at €1,229 (argent, space grey) for 256 GB and at €1,429 (argent, space grey) for 512 GB. If you don’t need the extra power of the M2 chip, it’s a good alternative to save money. Note that refurbished Apple computers have the same two-year warranty as brand new products.

If you prefer a new model, note that there is a great offer at Amazon on the 256 GB model which is currently at €1,249 (argent, space grey). On the other hand, the prices charged on the 512 GB model are not attractive (see our price comparison).
