During work, chatting with friends, on a long-awaited date or simply lying in bed, the mind can work non-stop and it is difficult to disconnect from some recurring thoughts. And anxiety is sometimes unmanageable.

Even in the best of times, our brains can lose control when it comes to thinking or overthinking. No brake. Like those machines that start and don’t stop.

However, a man has shared a video on TikTok with a trick that can help control thoughts and silence your mind in just a few seconds.

Video on TikTok to control the mind

TikTok page The Mental Level shared the “Jedi mind trick” with their followers and many of them were extremely surprised at how quickly they could calm their minds and downshift.

The video tells viewers to “ask yourselves right now what my next thought is going to be and just watch.”

If a thought appears, the expert advises to recognize it and gently let it go.

Then ask yourself again what your next thought will be.

“Just accept it if something comes up,” explains the authoritative voice of the expert in the clip.

“Let it go and breathe gently and deeply, relax your muscles and once again ask yourself from this really relaxed place what your next thought will be,” he continues.

Continue doing this until you notice the mind slow down and stop altogether.

viral stunt ending

The TikTok expert concludes: “Notice how your brain is in a rhythm of letting go of the thoughts that come up, that you are now aware of.”

“Notice the clarity and relaxation that you can release now and go about your day by being present,” she clarifies as a later step.

Effects and comments on the network

Those who experienced the test left their comments. And most were seriously impressed by the method and confirmed that it helped to stop thinking on the fly.

“I think I just cured all my anxiety with just one video,” one viewer wrote, somewhat exaggerated of course.

Another added: “This just silenced my brain almost immediately. Thank you”. And one was encouraged to go much further, of course: “Those with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) also noticed that the trick helped them significantly.”

And another person chimed in along the same lines “I have ADHD and I can’t believe how quickly it worked. I am stunned.”
