Since the flooding began, 296 missing people have been found alive. The torrential rains that fell last week in Belgium, and more particularly in the province of Liège, caused the death of 31 people, including 30 officially identified.
“The checks are not yet complete and will take several more days,” said the crisis center.
The various telecommunications operators are working to restore the network as quickly as possible in the affected areas. Minimum coverage is provided to allow residents of the affected areas to phone and surf, even if it is at a reduced speed, adds the Crisis Center.
