The OnePlus Nord N100 does have a 90Hz screen, finally

OnePlus unveiled two new smartphones last month, the Nord N10 5G and the Nord N100. The latter is an entry-level product for less than 200 euros. The manufacturer had announced that it would have a screen with a refresh rate of only 60 Hz, however, it looks like it finally has a 90 Hz panel.

OnePlus Nord N100

The OnePlus Nord N100 is a very interesting smartphone. If it does not offer incredible features, its price of 199 euros is its great strength. Today, we have a few more details on the terminal, which will ultimately have a better screen than expected.

Indeed, during the formalization alongside the N10 5G, One Plus had indicated that the smartphone had a 6.52-inch LCD screen with a definition of 1600 x 700 pixels. Its refresh rate was 60 Hz, which is still very common and does not surprise with this type of product.

90 Hz will be there

But drama! On its site, One Plus indicates that finally, the Nord N100 has 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will offer 60 Hz by default, but it will be possible to go to the options to modify that.

As a reminder, a higher refresh rate makes it possible to display more images per second. This increases visual comfort, whether in game or simply while browsing. A real asset, to such an extent that it is difficult to return to 60 Hz after having tasted 120 Hz or 90 Hz. Offering this option on a telephone at 200 euros is therefore an excellent thing for the manufacturer.

The One Plus Nord N100 also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor (not 5G), 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of memory. The battery is 5000 mAh and is compatible with “fast” charging at 18 watts. We find at the back a photo module composed of three sensors, one of 13 megapixels and the other two of 2 megapixels. The fingerprint sensor is also placed on the back. The One Plus Nord N100 can be ordered today on the One Plus website for 199 euros.
