The sad news went like wildfire. The colonel Gilbert Ibobi is dead. The one who was the Director of Presidency Protocol from the Republic of Congo succumbed to his illness. He was a faithful servant of the State in the function he had held for several years, this officer from the ranks of the police is part of the promotion of young Congolese trained in Romania in 1985. He then benefited from a specialized training in the field of security and has long worked in the General Directorate of Presidential Security. Appointed Director of Presidential Protocol, Gilbert Ibobi has remained discreet and entirely devoted to his work. He passed away at the age of 58.
