Mohamed Awad Taj El-Din, advisor to the President of the Republic for health and prevention affairs, revealed during a press conference today to announce the details of the scientific conference of the Egyptian Society of Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis, that doctors had a major role in controlling the Corona virus.

Awad Taj El-Din added that there is an increase in the number of Corona virus infections, the number of cases entering intensive care, and deaths as well, explaining that all these cases are dealt with in all cases, stressing that these numbers that were monitored through the Ministry of Health and Population, but experience deals with With simple and medium cases outside hospitals, we have cases that may be severe, but 85% are mild or moderate and are treated at home, and severe cases are treated in hospitals, explaining that we have not reached the peak yet, the fourth wave is still increasing.

He continued: The entry of cases and many cases are similar between Corona and seasonal flu, but it is necessary to emphasize the precautionary measures to reduce the spread of infection, explaining that the state has done an epic work by all standards to provide Corona vaccines and did not skimp on providing vaccines, indicating that this system was before providing vaccines. For her part, Dr. Jihan Al-Assal, Professor of Chest Diseases and Vice Chairman of the Scientific Committee to Combat Corona at the Ministry of Health, said that the 62nd conference of the Egyptian Society of Thoracic Diseases and Tuberculosis, with the participation of the most important speakers from America and a number of European countries, which is characterized by the participation of all Egyptian universities, and lectures throughout 3 days with 120 lectures.
