Dr. Muhammed said Awad Taj El DinAdviser to the President of the Republic for Health and Preventive Affairs, that there has been an increase in the number of cases of people infected with the Corona virus in recent days, compared to previous weeks in Egypt, especially since the Corona virus is still present globally and has not ended, adding: “The daily increase in Egypt is estimated at 7%-8. %”.
Awad Taj El-Din, in a phone call to the “On My Responsibility” program with the media, Ahmed Moussa, on the Sada El-Balad channel, warned against gatherings during the coming period, especially in “summers” and others, saying: “All that is asked of us in the coming period, is the continuation of prevention.” And everyone who catches corona must self-isolate.”
The Adviser to the President of the Republic for Health and Preventive Affairs explained that viruses always seek to create resistance to the body through continuous mutations, continuing: “We must not stop using masks on the one hand, and using alcohol and disinfectants on the other hand, and we also advise to reduce gatherings.”
He pointed out that high rates of vaccination of citizens with Corona vaccines have been reached, “We reached 60% of those who received the two doses, and in general we reached 90 million vaccine doses obtained by citizens, and we have a strategic reserve of vaccines to confront the Corona virus.”
