The SNES version of Elden Ring is even cuter than the Game Boy version

After the release of a demake ofElden Ring on Game Boy, the 64-bit YouTube channel posted a video showing what FromSoftware’s game would look like on the Super Nintendo.

Elden Ring still arouses so much creativity on the part of its community of fans. After a Game Boy versionit’s the turn of a SNES version to reveal itself on the 64-bit YouTube channel June 22, 2022. This channel, specializing in editing animated and parody videos on video games, reveals some passages of From Software’s masterpiece. We find in particular the prologue of the game, a view of the World Tree or the famous catacombs and their small gargoyles (painful).

What would Elden Ring look like on SNES?

A demake is the resumption of a modern video game on an older platform. This method is really the opposite of the remake, because it deconstructs the foundations of a recent game to offer a version reduced to its bare minimum. Thanks to the work of some developers, games can be recreated — like this demake ofElden Ring.

The video is really stunning as it is believable. It takes up some iconic passages from the latest FromSoftware title. Some fights are really well reproduced: the crossing of the desert to face Radahn, the many rolls to execute to defeat Malenia or the agility necessary to bring down the infernal Margit the fallen in Voilorage.

In the description of the video, 64 Bits specifies that it was inspired by the classic RPGs of the time, citing as an example Final Fantasy VI. Unfortunately, this SNES version ofElden Ring is not playable. We can always console ourselves by watching the Game Boy version or many already existing demakes on the 64 bit youtube channel (God of War on PS1, Monster Hunter on Game Boy).
