El Neu !, the non-international festival of music and other arts of Girona, reschedules two of the concerts scheduled for this weekend due to mobility restrictions, but keeps the double of Nico Roig this Sunday at the Auditori de la Mercè .
After performing in December at La Volta de Sant Narcís with a concert by Uma, the festival will begin the seventh edition with the double session of Roig -it will perform on Sunday at 5 and 8-, which proposes a show of 360 degrees with binaural sound (three-dimensional) to present his latest album Yo siempre sueño que sí, released in April during confinement.
Due to the limitations arising from the restrictions on mobility between municipalities, the organization has decided to postpone the other two concerts this weekend: that of Tona Gafarot, scheduled for January 15, and that of Lorena Álvarez, which is ‘was to be celebrated on the 16th. The presentation of Tona Gafarot’s new album has a new date and will be held on March 4, also in La Planeta. Tickets will be returned to buyers and tickets can now be purchased for the new date. The festival is looking for a new date for the performance of the Asturian Lorena Álvarez in what will be her debut in Girona.
Despite current measures limiting the influx of audiences to the shows, the organization of the Snow! has decided to maintain its programming “with the certainty that culture is safe and to support the cultural sector.” Thus, the programming for the rest of the festival, for now, remains as planned.
The festival will continue next weekend with the performance of b1n0 (accompanied by Núria Graham, PHOAC, Adriano Galante de Seward), on January 23 at the Girona Auditorium; and an acoustic concert by Mazoni, acoustically reviewing his great hits, on January 24 at La Mercè, which has already sold out.
The festival will close the last weekend of January with two more proposals: the documentary Paco Loco Viva el Noise about the versatile producer, on January 29 at the Cinema Truffaut; and a daring production of ZA! & the TransMegaCobla, at the Girona Auditorium on January 30.
