The strangest arbitration decision in the history of football.. “Egyptian”!

An Egyptian referee caused controversy in the football arena after he canceled a goal with the help of a mobile phone, despite the lack of “mouse” video technology, during the match between the Suez and Al-Nasr teams in the Egyptian second-division football league.
The Referees Committee of the Egyptian Federation, headed by the Portuguese Vitor Pereira, decided to suspend the referee for an indefinite period, explaining on the Football Association’s Facebook account today, Tuesday: “It was decided to open a comprehensive investigation about the incident when the match referee, Mohamed Farouk, used a mobile phone to review one of the footage of the match’s events.”
The story began when the Suez national team objected to a goal for Al-Nasr due to the presence of a handball during the attack, which prompted the referee to question his decision to count the goal, so he resorted to a mobile phone that took a video of the situation outside the stadium, which aroused the ire of Al-Nasr, who considered himself affected by the strange behavior of the referee in the absence of availability. The “mouse”, especially since the referee retracted his decision and canceled the goal, amid a state of astonishment from the audience.
It is noteworthy that the match ended with the victory of the Suez team, 3-1, amid anger and objections from Al-Nasr players and officials.
