“The Venice Film Festival will take place in September as planned,” explained Luca Zaia, as reported by the Italian newspaper ‘La Repubblica’, which is why the Film Festival will take place between 2 and 12 December. September.
In this way, the President of Veneto has also clarified that all safety and hygiene measures were adopted due to the pandemic and that there will be fewer productions compared to other years because the coronavirus has forced to stop filming and delay movie releases. This will also cause the number of actors, actresses or film directors to be reduced due to mobility restrictions.
The Biennale di Venezia announced the postponement until 2021 of the Architecture edition – scheduled for August this year – and to 2022 the Art edition – scheduled for next year – due to the health crisis, although the Film Festival will keep its date for September. .
