The Liège public prosecutor’s office was warned this Sunday that a fatal accident had occurred on the territory of the Stavelot-Malmedy police zone during the night.
A 43-year-old lady living in Lierneux lost control of her car for an unknown reason on rue des Marcadènes which connects Lierneux to the Baraque de Fraiture, during the night.
The lady being the only one involved, there would have been no witnesses to the accident. Reason why the damaged vehicle was only discovered this Sunday morning. It was even at the end of the morning that a funeral service came to take care of the remains of the deceased.
The Liège public prosecutor’s office sent an automotive expert on site.
