This Saturday, April 16, TF1 broadcasts the third last issue of the battles of the eleventh season of “The Voice”! After this final stage, the last eight protégés of Amel Bent, Vianney, Florent Pagny and Marc Lavoine will continue their adventure and get a little closer to the culmination of the 2022 season of the famous tele-hook presented by Nikos Aliagas. One moment in particular was expected: the duel between Pauline and Henry, from the Vianney team. The two candidates delivered a sublime interpretation of “Je vole” by Michel Sardou. Considered the “most beautiful battle” of this season by Internet users, this suspended moment resulted in the elimination of Henry. An elimination which was very severely criticized on the side of the twittos.

A moment out of time. This Saturday evening, Nikos Aliagas and the four jurors of “The Voice” live the ultimate evening of battles. The final will take place in just a few weeks: the outcome of the battles will see half the talent of Amel Bent, Marc Lavoine, Florent Pagny and Vianney leave the adventure. These are therefore eight candidates who will be able to continue the famous singing competition. Among the talents of this evening, Pauline and Henry from the Vianney team. During the blind auditions, these two young candidates shocked the public and their future coach: coming accompanied by her brother, himself a candidate, Pauline had delivered an intense cover of “Useful” by Julien Clerc. Henry had meanwhile touched Vianney in the heart by taking over “Indélébile” by Yseult, a nod full of emotion to his little brother who died a year ago. On the occasion of the battles, Vianney has therefore chosen to oppose these two talents: “These two, I ask them to sing together because they have a common light” explains the coach, confident of experiencing a real “break head” to the idea of organizing this confrontation. Hesitating between two songs, “L’Aigle noir” by Barbara and “Je vole” by Michel Sardou, Vianney ended up deciding by offering his duo to interpret the title of Michel Sardou, successfully taken up by Louane. A decision that delighted Henry… but not Pauline: “I’m disgusted to have this song to do. The lyrics don’t speak to me, I don’t really know how to put my emotion into it…” laments the young Belgian.

“Fed up with incompetent coaches!”

“You would be a duo in life, that wouldn’t surprise me!” launches Vianney to his two talents, a few seconds before the broadcast of their performance. Indeed, Henry and Pauline offered one of the most beautiful moments of this eleventh season of “The Voice”. This duel, described as a “little gem” by Florent Pagny, moved the entire jury and the entire audience on set. “I can’t talk too much” explains Vianney, her voice trembling. Her coach friends unanimously preferred Pauline’s performance. The interpreter of “Beau-papa” visibly shared their opinion by choosing to continue the adventure with Pauline. Until the end, Internet users believed in a draft of Henry by the other coaches. In vain. Henry has indeed left the adventure. This decision by Vianney deeply revolted internet users.
