The forward propelled his team to a 5-1 win over the Seattle Kraken with three goals on Monday, and the team’s plane pilots showed their admiration at Boldy just before a flight to Colorado.
Three hats arranged in a triangle awaited Boldy at his seat: two pilot hats serving as the base for a Wild cap at the top.
The Wild – winners of four of their last five games – kick off a two-game road trip Wednesday with a duel against the Colorado Avalanche. The team will then face off against the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday.
Apparently, Boldy’s good streak has earned him a new nickname: Matt Trick.
