The World Health Organization has admitted its inability to compel China to cooperate in the search for the origin of the “Corona” virus, which, along with its variants, has continued to spread in the world, with more than 3.7 million deaths and 173.5 million infected people.

Mike Ryan, director of the organization’s “emergency program”, said that the organization could not force China to reveal more information about the origins of “Covid-19”, but he made it clear that it would propose the necessary studies to find out where the virus moved to the “next stage”. .

After urging journalists, the day before yesterday, about how the organization would “force” China to be more transparent, Ryan said: “The World Health Organization does not have the ability to force anyone on this matter.” “We expect full cooperation, contribution and support from all member states in this endeavour,” he added.

In terms of deaths and injuries, the day before yesterday (Monday), about 8,000 additional deaths and 332,000 new injuries were recorded worldwide. In the same context, Iran returned to recording high numbers, as the Iranian Ministry of Health announced yesterday that 179 deaths and 8,846 new injuries were recorded during the past 24 hours.

The ministry had announced 120 deaths and 4,907 new infections the previous day. Yesterday, it stated that the total number of “Corona” injuries in the country rose to about two million and 980 thousand cases.

Yesterday, a spokeswoman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari, said that some cities are witnessing a spread of the Indian and South African strains of the “Corona” virus, and warned that failure to adhere to health protocols threatens “certainly the return of difficult days.”
