The Egyptian national team is preparing to enter a closed camp starting on September 14, and the technical staff of the youth team, led by Mahmoud Gaber, chose Alexandria to host the camp.

Mahmoud Jaber, coach of the youth team, believes that the last Arab championship, which the team lost its title to Saudi Arabia in the final, encouraged many professional players to request to join the team, and carry the colors of Egypt in Arab and international forums.

Jaber said, in exclusive statements to the seventh day, that the distinguished level presented by the team in the tournament, especially in the playoffs, showed the real capabilities of Egyptian football in the different age groups, explaining that he had received many messages from professionals asking to represent the team.

The coach of the youth team stressed that the technical team studies all talents abroad and seeks to make the best use of them, explaining that there is a working team that follows up on all the professional matches, and selects the right ones to represent the team.

The Egyptian team presented an exceptional copy of the Arab Youth Cup, despite losing the title at the hands of the Saudi team in the final match in which the two teams reached the penalty shootout, after the end of the original and additional match times on the impact of a positive tie with a goal for each of them.
