The Zurich team deservedly prevailed in the Resega. They made up for an early deficit, dominated the game during the first two periods and made the decision just as Lugano started to act a little more offensively: Chris Baltisberger, meanwhile, destroyed Lugano’s hopes with a 3-1 win after 45 minutes for a change; A little later, Jesper Frödén secured the Lions’ first away win with a 4-1 win.
Frödén turned out to be “Man of the Weekend” at ZSC. Frödén had already secured the 2-1 home win after a penalty shootout against Fribourg-Gottéron with a goal and the only penalty taken. In Lugano, Frödén scored another two goals.
For the ZSC Lions, goalie Robin Zumbühl was allowed on the ice from the start for the first time in the National League. Zumbühl was allowed to play part of the last two seasons (record: 73 minutes, 3 goals conceded). The game in Ticino started very badly for the 24-year-old, as he was defeated by Mark Arcobello with his first shot. But Zumbühl parried 19 of 21 shots and achieved his first win in the National League.
While the ZSC Lions improved to 3rd place in the table, the start of the season in Lugano is once again in danger of going wrong. Lugano has been particularly disappointing in home games so far. Luganesi only scored six goals in three games against Biel (0:3), Ajoie (4:2) and the ZSC Lions.

4-5
A player for the 3rd or 4th block, a veteran warrior or a newcomer.
3-4
The future still ahead of you or the future already behind you.
