“There is a real danger of death”, reacts the police

This Saturday, the people of Namur were enjoying a particularly sunny day. Along the pedestrian-cycle bridge that connects the Confluence and Jambes, the temperatures worthy of an Indian summer have prompted a group of teenage girls to literally jump into the water. Around 5:30 p.m., under the watchful eye of a young man who came to immortalize the moment with his smartphone, three teenage girls decided to jump into the Meuse from l’Enjambée.

Several people tried to dissuade them and make them aware of the danger, but nothing helped. They jumped fully clothed into water that was expected to approach 10 to 15 degrees.
