The Mexican Army and the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) dealt a new blow to the drug trafficking, by seizing this Friday at least 834 kilograms of cocaine in the municipality of Nezahualcóyotl, Mexico state.
Likewise, military personnel insured 1,500 dollars, 6,000 pesos and vehicles, federal government sources reported.
The drugs, the cash and the vehicles were transferred to the facilities of the Special Prosecutor for Organized Crime Investigation (SEIDO), in the center of the country’s capital. The property was insured.
Just yesterday the Secretary of Citizen Security of Mexico City, Omar Garcia Harfuch, announced that this Thursday they were insured in a property of the Coapa Super 4 subdivision of the Tlalpan Mayor’s Office approximately 800 kilograms of cocaine, 11 long weapons and four short weapons, in addition to two detainees.
The Secretariat of Citizen Security declared that the drug has an equivalent of up to 11 million dollars.
This would have been the largest drug seizure in the last 10 years, however, today it was surpassed by the event in the Mexican municipality by just 35 kilograms.
The almost two tons of the aforementioned drug is apparently linked to Sinaloa Cartel.
