A mother and her 3 and 9-year-old daughters were beaten and stabbed to death this morning in a house in the Buenos Aires city of Zárate where the murderer started a fireand as the alleged perpetrator of the triple femicide, an ex-partner of the woman and father of one of the girls was arrested, who was filmed entering and leaving the home, judicial and police sources reported.

As presumed author of the incident, a man identified by the Police as Juan Jose Cruza (25), Former partner of the oldest of the victims, father of one of the minors and who also had an arrest warrant since February 18 for a qualified robbery.
The police and fire brigade intervention was initiated by calls to 911 from neighbors who alerted about a fire in the aforementioned house. According to the sources, the fire had taken the front part of the house and police personnel managed to get the two unconscious girls out of the place and in critical condition from a series of injuries and the apparent inhalation of carbon monoxide.
