They warn about a solar storm that will reach Earth this March 31

After three eruptions in the solar atmosphere, the United States Space Weather Prediction Center warned of the arrival of a G3 geomagnetic storm on Earth on March 31.

This space phenomenon is known as coronal mass ejection (CME), which is plasma radiation and solar magnetic field, which can reach Earth in 15 to 18 hours when they go in that direction.

According to the Space Weather Center, a cannibalistic coronal mass ejection would hit Earth. This mass would be formed by two solar flares advancing at a speed of 3,027,599 km/h.

According to experts, a CME expelled on March 28 would have reached another that came out earlier, forming greater radiation and also a geomagnetic storm.

Technology impacts from a G3 storm generally remain small, but can push the aurora further toward the equator of its polar home. Aurora may be visible over northern states if conditions are favourable,” the Center explained.

In this way, the phenomenon might be seen on Earth as bursts of light, which can be observed from dark settings in the northern part of the planet.

According to scientists, the Earth’s magnetic field is expected to absorb the energy of the solar storm and thus cause minor damage, exactly “intermittent satellite navigation and low-frequency radio navigation problems.”
