“I feared for my life, once again, without deserving it,” the senator for the Metropolitan region, Fabiola Campillai, said on Twitter, following the formalization of a former RN militant accused of publishing threats against him.
This Wednesday the senator elected by the RM, Fabiola Campillai Rojas, referred to the formalization of the ex-militant National Renewal (RN)Verner Saul Medina Rabello, accused of having threatened her through social networks.
On July 31, 2021, the former militant indicated words against Campillai on social networks, where in response to a publication he wrote: “And we are all going to leave the shit to #FabiolaCampillaiDelinquent (sic) outside her house.”
In addition to the above, he assured that he lived near her, which triggered the complaint against Medina Rabello.

In a statement shared on TwitterCampillai declared: “I consider it very serious and unacceptable that an ex-militant of RN, a member of the Diversity Commission of that party, a public official of Corfo until December 31, feels he has the right to make a public threat to me.”
He also said that after learning of this “immediately I feared for my life, once again, without deserving it”.
He also explained that he sent a letter to the president of RN, Francisco Chahuán, to take action on the matter, however, to date he has not responded to the request.
Notably Fabiola Campillai resulted in the total loss of her vision after being hit by a tear gas in his face when he was on his way to work in San Bernardo in November 2019. For the fact, the former Carabineros officer, Patricio Maturana, is being investigated.
Finally, from RN they indicated that the subject no longer belongs to the party, in addition Medina Rabello will be formalized this Thursday, March 3, 2022 in the Guarantee Court of San Bernardo.
