This Monday morning, the COVID vaccination plan for people over 60 years of age began in Ecatepec, State of Mexico, one of the municipalities most affected by the pandemic.
The first vaccines from the Chinese Sinovac laboratory are applied this Monday at the Las Américas 1 and 2 Cultural and Sports Center.
The 200 thousand vaccines assigned to the municipality will be applied between Monday and Wednesday from 9 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon.
Given the high demand, the government of the State of Mexico announced that another seven vaccination points will be opened, about which it will be reported later, in order to avoid crowds. Vaccination in this municipality will take place during the next three weeks.

The Mexican authorities asked older adults to come accompanied, mainly if they have a disability, that they have eaten breakfast and brought a snack, that they are well hydrated and if they take medication they should take them at the indicated time.
Until this Sunday, in Edomex there are 20 thousand 518 deaths from COVID-19, as well as 198 thousand 684 accumulated confirmed cases.
