A mayor, a sub-mayor and 11 patrolmen from the Mobile Anti-Riot Squad, Esmad, were injured on Friday night in Cali, after they an explosive device was thrown at the truck in which they were transported.

The attack occurred at around 10:00 pm on Carrera 46 and Calle 25, southeast of Cali, and was claimed by the ELN’s self-styled ‘National Urban War Front’.
