The Pledge Credit Fund (Dicrep), popularly known as the “Rich Aunt“It will implement a series of modifications related to the maximum loan amounts and the increase in the value of the gram of gold from March, within the framework of the 101st anniversary of the entity, in addition to modernizing its payment processes.
According to the institution’s data, 94% of users have some type of bank account (RUT account, sight account or checking account) and, at the regional level, approximately 20% of loan payments have been made through electronic transfer, a percentage that progressively increases as users take this alternative.
The measure entered, in November 2020, in white gear in the Concepción credit unit, then Iquique and Talca were added, and later progressively, other branches have been incorporated, which to date complete a total of 15 branches . To those already mentioned, the headquarters of Arica, Antofagasta, Copiapó, La Serena, Los Andes, Quillota, Valparaíso, Temuco, Punta Arenas, Headquarters, Matucana and Puente Alto are added. And it is expected that by next March the 21 units throughout the country will have implemented this new credit payment system.
Regarding this new modality, the Seremi del Trabajo y Previsión Social de la Región del Biobío, Sintia Leyton, commented that “regarding payments for transfers, they currently reach about 20% of users, and we hope to increase the percentage during the next months. Here it must be borne in mind that many times users are unaware of the modality, but when they open themselves to the possibility of taking it, they stay with the electronic transfer, because it is faster and safer. “
Likewise, the Seremi announced that the Pledge Credit Fund, will return to the historic value of $ 13,500 for each gram of 18-karat gold, during the month of March. “The value of the 18-karat gold gram will return to the record price of 13,500 pesos, which we offered for several months last year and even in January of this year. Along with this, the maximum loan amounts will be increased both in jewelry and various objects and, in addition, the maximum loan amount per RUN will be increased ”, explained Leyton.
Along with it the “Rich Aunt”Will increase the maximum loan amounts, which will be as follows: From $ 2,800,000 to $ 3,500,000 pesos per RUN, from $ 250,000 to $ 500,000 pesos in jewelry and from $ 150,000 to $ 200,000 in miscellaneous items.
