(Agence Ecofin) – If 10,645 new companies have already been created in Togo, during the first nine months of this year, this figure still represents a decrease of 1.5% year-on-year.
In Togo, at the end of the 3rd quarter of the year, 3,450 new companies were created and registered at the Business Formalities Center (CFE). This is what emerges from the compilation of data, carried out by Togo first. Compared to the 3,495 companies created last year, during the same period, this figure corresponds to a decline of 1.3% year on year.
Among these new companies, 2897 are carried by Togolese against 553 others registered in the name of foreigners.
Over this period, we also note that 2,508 economic structures were formalized by men and 942 by women.
With these 3,450 new companies, CFE statistics show a total of 10,645 new companies created this year in the West African country, a decrease of 1.5%, compared to the 10,806 created during the first 9 months of the year. year 2021.
In 2021, 13,770 structures were founded against 12,500 counted in 2020, reflecting an upward trend of 9% in one year, recalls Togo First.
