Tour de France in Laval: Boston’s Fan Park square starts tomorrow

In addition to the passage of runners in the streets of Laval (Mayenne), on June 30, activities will be offered at the Fan Park from June 29.

Fan Park

Installed in Boston Square in Laval (Mayenne) from June 29, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. then on June 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Fan Park will host activities related to cycling: a combined mountain bike stand on a home trainer and laser shooting, a mobile laboratory for scientific police, security techniques workshops.

A stand of the Mayenne communities will be installed with the possibility of making the course of the time trial on a home trainer in virtual reality. A bicycle garage will be available nearby and it will be possible to engrave your bicycle against theft for free.

Tour partners such as FDJ, Skoda, Senseo, Enedis or Leclerc will hold stands with goodies to be won.

An ecosystem stand, equipped with an urn to collect mobile phone donations, will be present. A repair workshop for household appliances and the organization of an ecosystem for the depollution and neutralization of refrigerant gases with high global warming power via a virtual reality headset will also be presented.

The maximum tonnage is set at 800 people. Wearing a mask will be compulsory there as on the entire course. The presentation of the health pass is no longer compulsory.

Giant screens

Five giant screens will be placed on the course: at the start, at the first intermediate point in Saint-Jean-sur-Mayenne, at the second intermediate point in Bonchamp, in the Fan Park and in the last bend before the finish.
