A couple who were in a truck and the driver of another vehicle died this morning when three cars collided on Route 8, at the height of the Buenos Aires district of Jose C. Paz, reported road sources.
The incident occurred after 6.30 am on Route 8 and Jorge Newbery Street, on the border between the Buenos Aires parties of José C. Paz and Malvinas Argentinas, where three trucks collided, a Ford Ecosport and two Chevrolet Meriva for causes to be established.

As a result of the collision, the married couple who were traveling in the Ford truck, identified as Federico Romani and Gabriela Mendoza, and the driver of one of the Meriva cars died on the spot, while the remaining driver and his partner were injured with multiple trauma.

Shortly after, police personnel and ambulances from the emergency service came to the scene to assist the wounded, who were taken to a hospital in the area, where they were kept under observation, the sources explained.

As a result of the operation, the traffic in the place had to be completely cut off, in the middle of the rush hour, so that the pertinent tests could be carried out.
