Sunday evening, it was in Reconvilier (BE) that a misdirection on the A6 motorway led to a head-on collision. Extracted from a minibus and a minivan, ten injured were hospitalized. According to a first observation,
the minivan was traveling in the direction of Tavannes, when for some reason yet to be determined, it found itself in the opposite lane. at the height of the rest area.

A year earlier, on July 24, 2021, still on the Transjurane, a collision of the same type had occurred between the two Delémont (JU) interchanges. In question: a German-speaking driver who was driving in the direction of Porrentruy when he suddenly decided to turn around…

Multiples fractures

After a side impact with a first vehicle, the driver at fault collided head-on with a German-speaking car that was traveling normally. In the vehicle hit, the driver and his wife suffered multiple fractures requiring a two-month work stoppage.

The daughter of this couple followed her parents in her own vehicle: she suffered from post-traumatic shock, followed by a depressive episode linked to the accident, as reported by “Le Quotidien Jurassien”. She was unable to return to work without delay.

The driver at fault was sentenced to 130 day fines, suspended for two years. For this 30-year-old, the fine and costs will cost 3,500 francs, but according to “Le Quotidien Jurassien”, the real bill will be settled before a civil judge.
