The Ministry of Transport amended the job titles and powers of the leaders of the Egyptian Company for Management and Operation Subway For the first and second lines, where Eng. Ali Al-Fadali, Managing Director of the company, and Eng. Khaled Sabra, became Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors.
Thus, Eng. Khaled Sabra is authorized to attend all meetings of the metro company, and Al-Fadali manages, operates and maintains the company responsible for managing the first and second lines, “Al-Marj Al-Jadida – Helwan” and “Shubra Al-Khaimah – Al-Moneeb.”
Ahmed Abdel Hadi Bakir, the official spokesman for the Metro Company, confirmed that the reason for this was a prelude to the metro company’s listing on the stock exchange within the framework of the political leadership’s directives.
