Stefanos Tsitsipas, world N.6, qualified for the second year in a row for the final of the ATP 500 tournament in Dubai, dominating in the semi-final the British Daniel Evans (N.37) in two sets, 6-2 , 6-3, Friday.
Tsitsipas, only 21, will play his second final in a week after his title kept in Marseille last Sunday. He will face the winner of the second half, between the Serbian Novak Djokovic, world N.1, and the French Gaël Monfils, N.9.
As a reminder, the Greek had failed against Federer the previous year in the final in Dubai. The Swiss, 6-4, 6-4 winner, won the 100th title of his career that day.
