Two wild boars have caused two accidents when crossing Alicante roads this Monday, with two injured drivers – a 24-year-old woman behind the wheel of a car and a 20-year-old biker – in Ondara and Mutxamel, as reported by the CICU. The reduced traffic of people due to the state of alarm due to the coronavirus has led to these wild animals moving in unusual areas.
The Center for Information and Coordination of Emergencies (CICU) has specified that at 04.15 a.m., the intervention was requested to assist a woman who had suffered an accident with her car when a boar crossed on the AP-7, at Ondara’s height.
A Basic Life Support unit moved to the scene, whose health team assisted the driver, a 24-year-old woman, by polyconcussions.
After care, the wound was transferred to the Francesc de Borja de Gandia hospital (Valencia).
In addition, at 07:20 a.m., the CICU received a warning alerting of a motorcycle accident after colliding with a wild boar, on the CV-800 road, in the municipality of Mutxamel.
A Basic Life Support unit has been moved there. The health team has assisted a 20-year-old boy with polyconusions and has subsequently been transferred to the San Juan hospital. .
