Two individuals within the same family accused of committing manslaughter

The family of the victim was released under certain conditions. A call was made to the local police on Saturday evening at around 7:00 p.m., reporting that a child had been struck on a pedestrian crossing by a fleeing car. The girl was severely injured and died in the hospital during the night. Following an investigation, the possibility of a road accident was ruled out. The child’s family members, a 43-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man, were arrested and charged with manslaughter and culpable negligence. They have been released on conditions while the investigation continues, according to the prosecution.

The two members of the victim’s family were, however, released on conditions.

They have meanwhile been charged with counts of manslaughter and culpable negligence and later released on conditions. The prosecution said the investigation was still ongoing.
