Two Malayali students drowned in Northern Ireland

Londonderry: Two Malayali students drowned in Northern Ireland. The children died at Inagh Log Lake in County Londonderry. Sixteen-year-old boys from Kannur and Erumeli were involved in the accident.

They are Columbus College students. One died on the spot and the second died after being taken to hospital. Another child was hospitalized with injuries.

Their parents have been permanent residents here for the past 20 years. The children’s mothers are working here as nurses.
