Two men prosecuted for not having come to the aid of Dorian, tortured in Fosse-la-Ville

The trial of the executioners of Dorian, a 19-year-old young man tortured and kidnapped for nearly two hours by several people who accused him of having imposed non-consensual sex on his girlfriend, the night of 24 to June 25, 2019 in Fosses-la-Ville, is closed. On appeal in Liège, three of them were sentenced to 7, 13 and 17 years in prison at the end of October.

This Thursday morning, two other individuals involved in this case were to appear before the Namur criminal court. They are being prosecuted for failing to assist a person in danger. These two boys were present the night Dorian suffered a lot of abuse.

One of them was hosted by Dorian. “He was there, he saw a lot of things and left the house several times but he did not warn anyone,” said the Namur prosecutor’s office, which demanded a working sentence of at least 100 hours against him. .

The second defendant, who was lacking, arrived later on the scene. He did not participate in the torture, but neither did he intervene to help. “He saw some scenes. He had the possibility of doing something like calling the police but he did not take any active action, ”continued the public prosecutor who requested a year in prison against him.

Judgment on January 13.
