Speaking at a press conference in Washington, Pelosi said China’s leadership was “trying to push” toward its goals on Taiwan before she led a delegation to Taiwan last week. He answered a question about whether China will continue military exercises around Taiwan.

“What we’ve seen with China is that it’s trying to create a kind of new normal,” Pelosi said, adding that “we can’t let that happen.”
