Meanwhile, the case may be taken over by the NIA. UAPA may impose charges against the accused. The murder video was posted on social media by two men who allegedly cut the neck of a young tailor, Kanaya Lal, in retaliation for insulting Islam. They also threatened Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The suspects were apprehended by the police at night in Bhim area of ​​Rajasmant district while trying to escape. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that both the accused have been arrested and a speedy probe will be launched.

Top police officials including ADG Hawa Singh Goomaria, ADGP Dinesh MN, Janga Sri Nivas Rao, SP Rajeev Pachar and DIG Rajendra Goyal were also present at the spot.
