This results in a minus of 2.5 percent on a weekly basis. The MDax of medium-sized stocks lost 1.3 percent on Friday to 32,973 points.

In the USA, too, the markets are still under pressure due to developments in the East. After erratic changes in direction in trading, the Dow Jones Industrial lost 0.68 percent to 34,079 points. The Ukraine conflict brought the leading index down by almost two percent on a weekly basis.
