Ukraine reduced imports more than exports than reduced the negative balance
In the year of the coronavirus crisis, the negative foreign trade balance was reduced to almost zero.
In 2020, the negative foreign trade balance of Ukraine amounted to $ 255.5 million, which is 14 times less than in 2019 – $ 3689.1 million, according to the State Statistics Service.
Thus, the export of goods and services from Ukraine in 2020 amounted to $ 59042.0 million, which is 7.9% less compared to 2019. At the same time, imports fell by 12.5% to $ 59297.5 million.
Earlier it was reported that last year China accounted for the largest share of Ukraine’s external turnover -13,1%.
It was also reported that Ukraine agreed on industrial visa-free travel with the EU… After signing the agreement, some categories of Ukrainian products will have unhindered access to the EU market.
