[Washington, 23rd Archyde.com]–The United Nations announced on the 23rd that Secretary-General António Guterres will visit Turkey on the 25th to meet with President Erdogan. After that, it is scheduled to visit Russia on the 26th and Ukraine on the 28th.

Regarding Turkey, Griffith, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), said he has been an important host in negotiations between Ukraine and Russia over humanitarian issues.

UN Deputy Secretary-General Eri Kaneko said on the 22nd that Mr. Guterres will meet with President Putin and Foreign Minister Sergeĭ Viklov in Moscow on the 26th. We would like to discuss the path toward the realization of the ceasefire in Ukraine.

In Ukraine, it is expected to meet with President Zelensky and Foreign Minister Kreva, as well as with local UN agency officials to discuss strengthening humanitarian assistance.
