Taylor Swift continues to break records. The American pop star now also has the record of female artist with the most songs in the ‘Billboard Hot 100’, the main hit list of the United States. With no less than 113 songs, she leaves the American rap star Nicki Minaj behind.
30-year-old Swift owes the record to her new album ‘Folklore’, which is doing very well. All sixteen songs from the album made their debut in the US charts, bringing the total number of her songs that hit the top 100 to 113.
Swift thus pushes 37-year-old Minaj to the throne, who with 110 numbers has held the record since April 1, 2017. She then took it from the now deceased soulicoon Aretha Franklin, who had the record with 73 songs in the American charts for 40 years to her name.
Guinness World Record
The singer previously broke the Guinness World Record for a female artist’s most-streamed album in one day on Spotify and she is the very first artist to sell half a million copies of seven different albums in one week.
