New records have come to light related to the attempted robbery of which Cristián de la Fuente was the victim, an act in which his daughter was shot.
This Monday night CHV presented unpublished images of the attempted robbery of Christian of the Sourcefact in which his daughter Laura was shot in her legs.
It is a series of records that correspond to the follow-up made by the assailants after the renowned actor celebrated his birthday in a restaurant in Vitacura.
According to the report issued in CHV Newsboth the PDI and the Prosecutor’s Office believe that it was probably in that place where De la Fuente was “marked” inadvertently while having lunch.
Later, the actor was followed by the criminals until he was finally approached outside a condominium in La Dehesa. In the sequence, one of the occupants of the vehicle can be seen getting out to point with a weapon the interpreter, while another person on a motorcycle joins the stranger.
It is at that moment that the actor decides to flee, when the antisocial fires a shot that entered through the pilot’s window, thus injuring his daughter. After the attempted robbery, the subjects drove towards a condominium in San Miguel.
Although at first there was talk of a trap, the researchers discovered that it was a completely different dynamic. Minutes after the attempted robbery, De la Fuente arrived with her daughter at the German Clinic.
“When I arrive at the clinic and I meet the deputy prefect of the PDI, the first thing he asks me is what watch I’m wearing. When I showed it to him he told me: ok, they were going for the clock”said the actor.
In fact, prosecutor Jorge Reyes of the Oriente Prosecutor’s Office explained that De la Fuente could have been a random victim.
Identifying the gang
It should be noted that one of the criminals who participated in the assault is a Venezuelan citizen identified as Daniel Chacón Gutiérrez, who after the crime fled to Puerto Montt, a city where he stayed in at least two hostels. Despite these movements, the PDI was always after his steps.
In turn, the author of the shot would be another Venezuelan citizen who had previously been expelled from the country. As unusual as it may seem, It took just three weeks to return to Chile through a non-enabled step.
Despite the progress, it remains to identify the person who “marked” the actor in the restaurant, as well as who was driving the motorcycle.
