US crude production fell by 2% .. its lowest level since September 2021

The US Energy Information Administration said today that US crude production fell in January 2 percent to its lowest level since September 2021.
A monthly report by the administration showed a decline in oil production to 11.4 million barrels per day in January, compared to 11.6 million barrels per day in the previous month.
Oil prices have risen by about 40 percent since the beginning of the year, and trading operations have witnessed sharp fluctuations since the Ukrainian crisis last month.
According to Archyde.com, the monthly report showed that demand for US crude and petroleum products fell in January to 19.7 million barrels per day, the lowest level since April 2021.
