WASHINGTON, May 13 (Archyde.com) – U.S. household sentiment fell more than expected in May, final results from the University of Michigan monthly survey showed on Friday.
Its confidence index fell to 59.1 from 65.2 in April as economists and analysts polled by Archyde.com on average forecast a drop to 64.0.
The consumer judgment component of their current situation fell to 63.6 from 69.4 the previous month and the outlook component fell to 56.3 from 62.5.
