Manama: On the second day of his three-day visit to Bahrain, Indian Minister of State for External Affairs V. V Muraleedharan meets Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
During the meeting at the Riffa Palace, the two leaders discussed the possibility of strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
The Crown Prince said that the two countries have good relations in the field of economic cooperation and investment and it is imperative to look for more areas for mutual cooperation. He said bilateral trade and investment should be enhanced for the economic growth and development of both the countries.
The Crown Prince pointed out that India and Bahrain have worked together to combat the Kovid-19 epidemic and praised the service rendered by the Indian community to Bahrain’s growth.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) Greetings V Muraleedharan (V Muraleedharan) Informed the Crown Prince of Bahrain.
The two discussed issues of mutual interest in the region and internationally. He also lauded India’s role along with other countries in ensuring stability and security in the region.
Given the opportunity to meet with the Crown Prince, the Crown Prince will continue to support the strengthening of bilateral ties. Muraleedharan thanked him. Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Sayyani also attended the meeting.
V Muraleedharan arrived in Bahrain yesterday for a three-day official visit. He was received by Undersecretary Taufeeq Ahmad Al Mansour. Muraleedharan also held discussions with representatives of Indian schools in Bahrain.
