Weeks, if not months, they wait for this moment. In Hydrangeas, an accommodation facility for dependent elderly people in Dijon (Côte-d’Or), the vaccination campaign began on Wednesday, one month to the day after the launch of the national vaccination campaign. Spared during the first wave, the private non-profit structure, which welcomes 86 residents, experienced its first cases in November. Result: all those who have been recently affected will have to wait three months to be vaccinated. Weeks of ordeal, which left residents and staff impatient to finally see the precious serum arrive. Fifteen days after having followed the process of obtaining consent from residents, Release spent twenty-four hours at the Hydrangeas, from the arrival of the doses to their injection.
