The cantonal police intervened Monday morning, at the prisons of the plain of the Orbe (VD). Two people were arrested. An investigation is underway.
Following various investigations, the Vaud cantonal police intervened this Monday morning at the prisons of the plain of the Orbe (EPO). The police arrested two people simultaneously. It is a detention officer and a detained person. These people are suspected of having brought mobile phones and narcotics into the prison, then of having sold them to other detainees. police said in a statement.
Several searches were carried out and a criminal investigation was opened by the prosecutor
of the Strada Public Prosecutor’s Office. The investigations are carried out under the direction of the prosecutor by investigators from the North Judicial Region with the security police and the canine brigade in collaboration with the Prison Service.
