After two years without a votive festival, the question was on everyone’s mind. The city council and the festival committee have taken over the collar of preparation. Which is not easy. Posters and yellow leaflets circulate. The tour of the bouquet in the municipality is a strong signal and a way to fill the committee’s piggy bank a little. New residents are sometimes surprised by this “quest”! Culture and traditions The votive festival is attached to a Catholic saint of the calendar (Julien de Brioude), followed by “pagan” festivities taken in hand by the youth, in particular formerly by the conscripts of the review board, those of “the class” responsible for “holding the party”. But finished the military service, it is the committee of all the young people of the commune, boys and girls, who manages the event with the wisdom of the voluntary adults and under the eye of the Town hall!
