Defender Lee Han-beom hit a cross from Jeong Ho-yeon from the left flank with a sharp header into Bahrain’s net.
Once the first goal was scored, the national team’s offensive power was rekindled.
In the 29th minute of the second half, captain Baek Seung-ho scored an additional goal with a powerful mid-range shot from in front of the arc.
Baek Seung-ho, who showed off his sharp kicking power throughout this tournament, even scored a goal, showing off his captaincy.
The national team, including Ko Young-jun’s key goal in the 39th minute of the second half, defeated Bahrain 3-0, finishing the group stage cleanly with three consecutive wins and no goals.
Coach Hwang Seon-hong said that Lee Kang-in’s replacement was intentional and expressed satisfaction with the performance.
