A cover album

A few months ago, in December 2020, Thomas Dutronc unveiled the reissue of his album Frenchy. An album on which he takes up classics of French song in a jazzy version, in a duet with Étienne Daho, Jane Birkin or even his father Jacques Dutronc.
We find in particular covers of Ces petits riens by Serge Gainsbourg, Partir nonetheless by Françoise Hardy, Last screening by (and with) Eddy Mitchell, Get Lucky by Daft Punk, There were trees by Charles Trenet … But also a cover of the famous song A man and a woman from the film of the same name by Claude Lelouch. A song that Thomas Dutronc performs in duet with Stacey Kent.
It was to shoot the clip for this cover that Thomas Dutronc came to the Côte Fleurie in March to rediscover the natural settings of the film shot in Deauville in 1965.
